Take the Next Step
Curious how a seat on the Stride Career Prep Student Advisory Council might work for you? Here are some answers.
How much time will this require?
You can expect to spend about three hours per week on social media and other activities. You'll be compensated by the hour, so there's room for flexibility if some weeks are busier than others. In addition, you'll have opportunities to participate in projects to earn money above and beyond the expected three hours per week.
How much are advisors paid?
Stride pays a competitive hourly rate for interns. Your pay will be based on work completed and timesheets approved by your Stride point of contact. There will be opportunities for focus groups and other projects throughout the year for which you can earn additional pay.
When will advisors be selected?
We expect to evaluate applications and conduct interviews for our next cohort in late 2022.
How long will this employment last?
You will be a Stride employee for a period of six months.
What will training be like?
You’ll start with virtual kickoff sessions with all selected interns and executives from the Stride Career Prep program. We'll give you all the tools you'll need to be successful, including a roadmap for when work is due, as well as contacts at your school and Stride to help you with your questions. Throughout the year, you'll be guided by the Stride program manager who leads the Advisory Council.
